FAQs
Is a Trial Necessary?
A bridal trial is usually recommended 2 months/8 weeks prior to the wedding so that it stays fresh in both the client’s and the artist’s memories. It also allows plenty of leeway if anything needs altering or changing.
It is also a good opportunity to get to know each other and build a good relationship so that on the wedding day the you feel comfortable and at ease.
Can Other People Come To The Trial?
It is always best to ask in advance if someone else is to come to the trial. It is not usually recommended as it is vitally important that the bride and the artist form a relationship without any distractions. However exceptions can be made.
Where Does The Trial Take Place?
The trial can take place either in the comfort of your own home, or at my home studio. Travel expenses apply if I am to travel to you – these can be found in the T&Cs and also the pricing guide.
Can Trials Also Be For Party Members?
Other bridal party members can be accommodated for a trial, but this may be on a different date to the bride herself as trials can take a few hours to complete and can take a lot of concentration. Often a separate date works better.
What Kind Of Makeup Brands Do You Use?
My entire hair, makeup and skincare kit has been specifically curated and honed to be completely vegan and cruelty free.
My current favourite makeup brands to use are Charlotte Tilbury, Hourglass, Fenty, Tarte, Hauslabs and Danessa Myricks.
When it comes to hair, I use Maria Nila, Moroccan Oil & Authentic Beauty Concept.
Skin care products change a lot, but currently I like Ren, Pai & Skin Rocks.
What Areas Do You Cover?
I can travel to wherever the location of the wedding is in the UK and abroad. Travel fees will be incurred to and from the venue. If the venue exceeds 90mins then local accommodation must be provided. This is also applicable for early starts.
For destination weddings, artist’s travel and accommodation must be organised by the bride. This is not included in the bridal package fees. Baggage allowances plus local travel must also be included.
Please contact me directly for more info.
Booking Fees & Payments
A booking is not guaranteed until a non refundable deposit of £150 is to be paid directly via bank transfer. This secures the date in advance and acts as a binding contract between myself and the bride.
Due to high demand, a minimum spend on a wedding is usually £600. This excludes the trial and any travel/accommodation. Sometimes exemptions can be made. Please speak to me to discuss further.
On the day of the trial once everything is finalised and agreed, half the amount of the booking will be due. The rest of the payment will be due 8 weeks prior to the big day unless stated otherwise.
You can see more of this information in my T&Cs (please contact me for full T&Cs).
